TEST ESI – Early Social Indicator
Six-minute play-based assessment of social interaction between child and adult (with an optional peer) for children 6 to 42 months. Quote-based, includes training and certification.

The Early Social Indicator (ESI) measures social interaction between a child and an adult, with an optional peer. Like the other IGDIs, the assessment takes six minutes and is appropriate for children six to 42 months. ESI certification requires staff to score two videos to 85% reliability.
